Newsletter for December, 2011

*Next Parents meeting will be January 8^th, 4:30pm, at the Arvest Bank East Side building at Adams road and Adams blvd. All parents are invited to attend and help with the planning of our activities.

*January Pack Meeting: Our next pack meeting is Thursday, January 12^th, 7:00PM in Ranch Heights School Gym. Bears will present the Flags and Wolves will handle prayer. Our Tigers, and Webelos I and II will share skits or songs.

*Pack Recharter: It is time to work on re-registration for next year. Cost to register for 2012 is $15. A subscription to Boys Life is $12. We would like to have all the funds for 2012 registration collected as soon as possible. Please pass your funds through your den leaders. Den leaders may send funds to Randy or Charles Lewis.

*Popcorn Sales: If you have not turned in your popcorn money, please get with April Williams, Charles Lewis, or Randy Ellis as soon as possible. Popcorn prizes will be passed out at the January Pack Meeting.

*Christmas Parade: The Bartlesville Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday December 17^th. We need to be in place by 4:45pm in the ConocoPhillips parking lot. If you would like to help decorate the float you should arrive by 4:00pm. The parade will begin at 5:30pm. No personal vehicles will be allowed into the ConocoPhillips parking lot. You can either drive yourselves to a parking lot close by such as, the Community Center, the Library, First United Methodist or First Presbyterian Churches, or other parking lots just off Adams Blvd and walk the 2-4 blocks into the parking lot OR have someone drop you off at the designated drive through drop-off located at the north side of the ConocoPhillips parking lot. It is the Zachary parking lot on Short Street off Frank Phillips Blvd just past the railroad tracks. Thanks to Charles Dillon for registering us for the parade.

*Christmas Caroling: The pack will again go Christmas Caroling this year. We will be caroling at Green Country Village on December 15^th. We will sing Christmas Carols in two different buildings; the Assisted Living Building at 6:30pm and the Independent Living Building at 7:00pm. We will provide song sheets on that night.

*Pinewood Derby: Our Pinewood Derby will be Saturday, January 28th. Rules are included on the back or this newsletter. Check in and race times will be announced at the January Pack Meetings. Pinewood Derby kits will be passed out through your den leaders tonight.
